  6. For skin and ear issues: You can put honey on a clean cotton ball and use it on the skin if you have problems like cracked skin in certain areas, or on the ear if it feels swollen.

  7. For a hard stomach: Mix 2 small spoonfuls of honey with warm water. Drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach if you have a hard time going to the bathroom.

  8. For a tired voice: Mix 1 small spoonful of honey with warm water and drink it three hours after meals, three times a day, for five days in a row. This can help if your voice feels tired but you don't have a cold.

What Doctors Have Found

Doctors have found that honey can help in some serious ways too:

  • For stomach ulcers: In a study of 20 people, the problem went away in 15 of them. They ate a third cup of fresh honey before meals, three times a day. After ten days, they had more honey each day.

  • For other health problems: Honey was found to help with many other things, like certain kinds of stomach trouble in adults and kids. For some kinds of low blood iron, 80 to 100 grams of honey each day divided into 3 parts showed a clear increase in blood cells.
