Experiment

Menthol, found in peppermint oil, can help with headaches and itchiness. It makes the skin feel cool, then a bit warm. It's not good for itchy skin caused by cold.

Notes

If your skin feels itchy when it's cold, using menthol might not help you.

Peppermint has helped me with severe nerve pain in the past. It worked better than any other relief method for me. But remember, what works for one person might not work for another.
